Preliminary Program updated Ap26

What’s the story? Many excellent writings about Chicago Italians have appeared in the last 40 years, but have lacked impact because they have not been drawn together in one place to create a comprehensive narrative.   This conference will bring 25 authors together to evaluate their writings in light of new technology and new ways of looking at society, and to discuss new works and the post 1945 immigrants.
